The Heart Behind The Love Grove
Stories Rooted in Connection.
Every story we document begins with trust. We believe the most meaningful photographs come from genuine connection, thoughtful guidance, and creating the space for you to be fully present with the people you love most.
Why We Do This
We don't believe wedding photography is about chasing perfect moments.
It's about preserving the ones you'll never be able to recreate.
The quiet breath before walking down the aisle. The way your parents look at you during the ceremony. The laughter that fills the room during a toast. The hugs that linger just a little longer because everyone knows the day is moving too quickly.
Those moments deserve to be remembered just as much as the beautifully planned details.
Our role isn't simply to photograph your wedding—it's to create an experience that allows you to slow down, be fully present, and trust that every meaningful moment is being thoughtfully preserved.
Because years from now, we hope these photographs don't just remind you of how your wedding looked.
We hope they remind you of exactly how it felt.
Our Story
I still remember buying my first camera from Craigslist for $300.
At the time, I had no idea that one small purchase would eventually lead me here.
Photography began as a creative outlet, photographing concerts and learning everything I could about light, composition, and storytelling. Some of my earliest memories behind the camera are with friends like Kylie and Hailey, who patiently stood in front of my lens while I figured out what aperture even meant.
Growing up in Green Bay and later attending the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire shaped who I am in ways that reach far beyond photography. Sports taught me to anticipate moments before they happened, to pay attention to the details others might miss, and to understand that the best moments are often over in an instant.
Today, those lessons influence every wedding we photograph.
Rather than chasing perfection, we're constantly looking for connection—the interactions, emotions, and relationships that make every story completely unique.
What We Believe
We believe your wedding day should be experienced, not performed.
The best photographs happen when you're focused on each other—not on the camera.
We believe connection comes before photographs.
The more comfortable you feel, the more honest your images become. Building trust is one of the most important parts of our process.
We believe thoughtful guidance creates natural moments.
We'll gently direct when it's helpful and step back when the moment deserves to unfold on its own.
We believe every story deserves to be told with care.
Every couple, every family, and every celebration is different. Our job is to honor your story as it naturally unfolds.
We believe love is always worth celebrating.
Creating an inclusive, welcoming, and safe experience isn't something we add to our business—it's part of who we are.
A Few Things We Love Beyond The Camera
The weddings we photograph are only one small part of the stories that inspire us.
You'll usually find us exploring small towns and quiet places throughout Wisconsin, appreciating thoughtful architecture and good design, cheering on the Packers, spending time with family, or enjoying a slow morning with a great cup of coffee.
Those slower moments remind us to pay attention—to notice the little things that often become the most meaningful memories.
It's the same perspective we bring to every wedding day.

What You Can Expect
If you invite us into your story, here's our promise.
We'll help you feel comfortable.
We'll celebrate alongside you without ever taking over the moment.
We'll build a thoughtful timeline that creates space for genuine connection.
We'll notice the little moments you may never even realize happened until you see them in your gallery.
We'll care about your experience just as much as your photographs.
Most of all, we'll serve you with the same intention and care that inspired The Love Grove in the first place.
Because long after the flowers have faded and the music has ended, we want you to remember how it felt to have someone in your corner throughout the day.
We'd Love to Hear Your Story
Every wedding is different because every couple is different.
If our approach resonates with you, we'd be honored to learn more about the people, relationships, and moments that matter most. We'd love to hear your plans, answer your questions, and begin creating an experience that's as meaningful as the memories you'll take with you.
